We move forward together...

The situation we are all facing has not affected us in the same ways. For the children and adults we serve, the obstacles have been overwhelming. Not only are they facing physical health issues, they are facing lack of basic necessities. The mental health issues that confront us all in this environment are particularly challenging in the parts of our community served by Assistance League. Students and families have been struggling to address educational needs. Suicide rates are rising, domestic violence and child abuse incidents are increasing; the needs are great!

Assistance League of Denver is working to help address these needs. We are communicating with Assistance League Schools in Denver and Aurora Public Schools to provide support to students and families. We have reopened our Hospital Equipment Lending office on an appointment basis. We are packing and sending assault survivor kits to area hospitals.

We have lost our major sources of funding for the past months. Our Thrift Shop remains closed and we canceled our annual fundraising event, The Happening. We would appreciate help now to support our philanthropic programs. Please join our campaign to bring Good News to a beleaguered community.
